This web meeting represented the 5th Local Pilot Action Monitoring Conference Call and the 6th Project Steering Committee Meeting. It was coordinated by lead partner (LP) Regione del Veneto (RV)  and project partner (PP2) Confindustria Veneto SIAV S.p.A (SIAV) and had the aim to present and share with all project partner’s (PPs) the state of advancement of the activities planned under work package 4 (WP4) task 3 (T3) in the Local Action Plans, and to give an overview of overall project implementation, reasoning with the Steering Committee members on the remaining activities, deliverable and outputs foreseen in the final semester of the project. This meeting was organized online, on July the 16th 2020, due to the Covid-19 outbreak using the “Go To Meeting” platform.

The Conference Call was opened by Elisa Bertoni (LP RV) with the greetings from Veneto Region and the introduction of the aim of the meeting. Each partner was then invited to present the state of advancement on the actions implemented or planned in its own LPA and to share some considerations regarding the conclusion of this intervention.

The online meeting was attended by the representatives of all the partners in the project: Regione del Veneto (Italy) as the leading partner of the project, Confindustria Veneto SIAV S.p.A. (Italy), Politecnico di Bari (Italy), Επιμελητήριο Αχαΐας – Chamber of Achaia (ΕΛΛΑΔΑ – Greece),  University of Patras – ΠΑΝΕΠΙΣΤΗΜΙΟ ΠΑΤΡΩΝ (ΕΛΛΑΔΑ – Greece), Primorje-Gorski Kotar County (Croatia), University of Rijeka Faculty od economics (Croatia), Chamber of  Commerce and  Industry of  Tirana – Dhoma e Tregtisë the Industrisë, Tiranë (Albania)  and Qendra “Mesdheu” – “Mesdheu” Center – Mediterranean University of Albania.

FUTURE 4.0 project aims at supporting competent regional/national administrations to design governance frameworks governing the impact of the technological megatrends on the shipyard and logistics industry. The achievement of this main goal will be supported by 3 specific objectives:
1 – Developing a common innovative Technological Roadmap and Smart Learning Model under an Industrial Policy Perspective for the Shipbuilding Industry and
Logistics towards Industry 4.0 ROADMAP AND SMART LEARNING MODEL
2 – Increase the cooperation in Knowledge and Technology Transfer activity level amidst private sector and Knowledge/R&D providers within the RIS3 framework- ACTION PLAN AND LOCAL PILOT ACTIONS
3 – Increase employability in the Shipbuilding Industry and Logistics – SMART LEARNING STRATEGY
